This app features over 1,800 attractions over the UK to fill your Easter holidays with plenty of family fun. With detailed descriptions, price information, opening times and contact details, your only challenge will be agreeing on where to go.
The National Trust. (Free, iPhone and Android)
Fancy a day out, but not sure where to go? Visit glorious coastlines, wild countryside, historic castles and huge mansions with the National Trust app. Find places near you or choose a new destination and get ready to discover the UK’s great outdoors.
English Heritage Days Out. (Free, iPhone and Android)
Whether it’s dungeons and dragons or shining knights you want to see, you’ll find them all with this app. Choose your preferred area, then just browse current events. You’ll even see if it’s suitable for the kids and if Fido can come along too.
Waze GPS. (Free, iPhone and Android)
When driving in convoy, why not try this app? Its navigational tools help you and your fellow drivers to outsmart traffic jams, speed cameras and hazards. Don’t worry, it’s voice-guided like a sat nav, but remember to use hands free while you drive.
Wikitude. (Free, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone)
This app uses your phone’s camera plus augmented reality technology to activate different information around you. Search for ATMs, restaurants or even your friends. Just hold your phone up and pan around to see everything you need around you.

The cost of all those fun days out can really add up, which is why the Groupon app is so good. Every day you’ll be able to choose from a number of hugely discounted offers for everything from pizzas to cinema tickets to go-karting.

Get some fresh air in your lungs and enjoy the great outdoors with this fantastic app that shows you all the cycle routes around the UK. It also highlights local shops, leisure attractions and places of interest, so you plan an exciting day out
