Introducing the next generation dongle.

Three only launched its premium dongle – the Huawei E367 – in April 2011 but within months it was a multiple award-winner.

The E367 scooped four gongs in Broadband Genie 2011 road trip, including Best Downloader and Best Uploader.

The Broadband Genie team had travelled across the country testing dongles from Three, O2, Orange, TalkTalk, T-Mobile, Virgin Media and Vodafone.

So what makes it so special?

The E367 is the first Three dongle to feature HSPA+ technology that makes browsing up to 40% faster, which will get even faster as Three upgrades its network.

With 80% of Three’s network upgrading to HSPA+ technology by the end of 2011, the device and the network work together to bring you a faster, smoother experience.

In short, HSPA+ is the next step up from a 3G network, built for using the mobile internet.

The technology inside the E367 connects to the mobile internet and processes information at super-fast speeds. You’ll find huge improvements in viewing photos, downloading attachments and watching online videos.

The E367 also boasts a new design – most notably a rotating head that’s useful on many levels.

Firstly, the USB connector tucks into the dongle – you simply rotate it out when you need to use it. Lots of us have lost USB caps but that’s not an issue with the E367.

Secondly, the rotating function means you can use your dongle like a mini aeriel, twisting it into the best position for the strongest signal.

Thirdly, it’s great for using in tight spaces – such as a packed train carriage. By rotating your dongle into an upright position, you’ll save space - and there’s no need to worry about anyone ripping it out with one false move.

David Kerrigan, Three’s head of mobile broadband, said: ‘Huawei has done a great job delivering this superior dongle, in both form and function.

‘Whether browsing the internet, downloading files or streaming video, this dongle delivers an even better internet experience on our 3G network, which is built for using the mobile internet. With the E367 available on both contract and Pay As You Go, Three is leading the mobile broadband market.’
