Meet Stephen

This week we meet Stephen.

From the Basildon 3Store.

Hello Stephen, what do you enjoy doing

in your spare time?

Watching films, socialising with friends, playing computer games and watching my one true love, Arsenal.

How long have you worked for Three?

I've worked for Three for three years.

What’s your favourite app?

BBC iPlayer. I like catching up on TV that I missed or films that have been on BBC. It’s a great way to pass the time on trains – and it’s free.

What do you want to tell us about today?

The Samsung Galaxy S II.

As soon as I saw this handset, I wanted it! It’s an extremely light handset, very thin, powerful and looks great, especially with a choice of colours.

It comes with the Android operating system meaning I have access to thousands of Android apps to help me with my day-to-day needs as well as games to pass the time. There’s something for everyone on Google Play, especially as most apps are free.

Plenty of storage for music and photos.

The phone has an internal memory of 16GB, just like an MP3 player, meaning I can take my music around with me. And if 16GB isn’t enough, I can just pop an SD card inside. As well as storing music on my phone, all my photos from my nights out with my mates are stored on here as I took them with the 8 megapixel camera that’s built into the device.

It’s far better than carrying an extra device like an MP3 player or a camera when I’m out and about.

A truly amazing screen.

The screen is picture perfect with the most amazing quality I have ever seen. What shows it off best is watching movies or TV programmes. I watch ‘Match of the Day’ as part of my TV catch-up when I’m on my way to work by using the BBC iPlayer app.

Quick performance thanks to a fast processor.

In terms of speed, it’s extremely quick when browsing on the internet or sending email.  So there’s no waiting around when I’m to browsing, using social networks, sending instant messages and everything else. The best bit is I don’t even need to worry about the amount of data used as I have all-you-can-eat data on my monthly plan.

My verdict.

I do prefer it over the iPhone or HTC as I find the menu and layout easier to use – but this is down to personal preference and what you’re used to. I would recommend this handset to anyone, especially on   'The One Plan' and is available in White and Black.
