The best bits of Mobile World Congress 2015.

Mobile World Congress (MWC) is one of the biggest tech conventions in the world. This year's event saw the launch of a hefty amount of smartphones, tablets, accessories, wearables and other gadgets from all the big hitters. Pretty exciting stuff.

We’ve rounded up the best bits from MWC 2015, so you’ll know what to expect from this year’s tech trends.

And don’t forget, all of the new phones of 2015 will come with the added benefits of the Three network, such as using your phone abroad at no extra cost in 16 Feel At Home destinations worldwide – including Spain – from 1 April. And 4G at no extra cost in 4G enabled areas.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

Samsung revealed its new flagship smartphone duo at MWC 2015 – and it didn’t let us down. The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S6 was joined by the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. Both come with cutting-edge technology, sleek design and impressive new features including smarter charging and a faster camera.

Samsung has taken a punt on its own Exynos 7420 processor (instead of a Snapdragon variant), which has paid off. Although thinner and lighter than its predecessor the Samsung S5, the S6 is certainly no lightweight when it comes to power.

The new Quad-HD Super AMOLED screen also offers one of the sharpest displays on the market, while the build is, without a doubt, something to text home about. Sophisticated metal casing and Gorilla Glass 4 panels leave the handset feeling solid in the hand, while the S6 edge’s curved look is a real head-turner.

HTC One M9.

Drum roll, please. The HTC One M9 is here – and with it brings striking design, exceptional features and superior performance.

Let’s start with power. The new HTC flagship uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810, is packed with a chunky 3GB of RAM, and houses a 2800 mAh battery, making it a bit of a powerhouse. Its premium materials feel less slippery than the M8 – so it’s super easy to get to grips with and fits nicely in the palm.

Other notable features include a Super LCD3 display with sapphire glass, a hugely improved 20-megapixel camera and a scratch-resistant coating on the rear. Handy for those who are always on-the-go.

Honor 6+.

Another reveal to get us all shook up at MWC was the new Honor 6+.

If you’re keen to get your mitts on the new Honor 6+ handset, the good news is that Three will be its exclusive tariff partner in the UK. This means you can pop into one of our selected stores to check out its look, feel and capabilities before you decide.

The new Honor smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch high-definition IPS-Neo screen that gives a crisp display whatever angle you look at it – perfect for those who love to take photos. The 8MP front camera and dual-lens 13MP back camera also feature a built-in aperture, so you can snap selfies with stunning results.

What’s more, the 1.8GHz octo-core processor and beefy 3GB RAM give you extended battery life (as well as allowing you to keep multiple applications and tasks running at the same time), meaning you’re less likely to run out of juice.
