Unlock your phone.
You’ll need to do this if your phone is from another network. We can’t unlock it for you.
Many shops offer an unlocking service or you can contact your current network for an unlocking code (known as a DCK) and they’ll give you instructions. If you don’t know your network’s phone number
Insert your SIM.
You’ll find instructions for this in your phone user guide. You usually have to remove the back cover and battery to insert your SIM.
Your new number is on the card attached to your SIM as shown opposite:
With a voucher – available in 3Stores, supermarkets and anywhere you see the top-up sign. A 16-digit number will be on your receipt (see below). Visit your My3 account or call 444 for free and enter this number.
With a credit or debit card - register your card at My3 then top-up online (using your PC or phone).
My3 is free to use. Once your card is registered, you can also top-up by calling 444 for free.
