closeWhen you're using the postcode search you may find that the house or building you are searching for is not exactly in the centre of the map. This is because the map centres on the postcode sector (i.e SL6 1) rather than the full postcode (SL6 1EH). You may need to change the zoom level or pan around to find the exact area you are looking for.

closeYou can use the navigation arrows to pan north, south, east and west around the map.

closeYou can use the scale to zoom in and out of the map. There are four possible layers of zoom, from UK outline down to major street level.

Variable: You are likely to be able to connect to 3's Mobile Broadband Network when you are out and about, but indoor coverage will vary - working in some buildings but not in others.
Good: You can connect to 3's Mobile Broadband Network in just about all locations when out and about, but when indoors you may find some rooms get a better signal than others. You can also improve the signal strength a little bit by using the USB extension lead provided with your dongle.
Very Good: You can connect to 3's Mobile Broadband Network in just about all locations when out and about and when indoors.

2G network: gives you voice, text and picture messaging services.
3G network: gives you all of the above, plus video calling and the internet on your mobile.
