We never want you to go, but if you've decided your time with us is up, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to move on. With our leaving and switching process, everything can be completed with a text to switch, online or on the phone, and we'll always be upfront about any remaining charges or outstanding balance. We've got all the detailed information for you on how to leave Three, with or without your number.
If you're the account owner, you'll be able to follow these steps easily. If not, you'll need to get in touch with your business's account owner to leave Three.
Leaving Three, with or without your number
If you want to take your number with you, we can help. You’ll need a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) to take with you, which you’ll need to give to your new provider when you switch. If you’re not interested in keeping your number, or you want a fresh start, you can leave without taking your number with you. You’ll need a STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code). You can get these in a few different ways.
If you’re the account owner, you’ll be able to fill out our form. You can manage up to 24 numbers in our form; if you need to take more than this, just give us a call. Make sure you use the registered billing postcode in the form, though.
Alternatively, you can text 'PAC' followed by your date of birth (DDMMYY) to 65075, or 'STAC' followed by your date of birth (DDMMYY) to 75075 as the account owner. The date of birth will need to be the account owner's, so if you're submitting this and aren't using that date of birth, the request won't work. You can also get some general information by texting 'INFO' and your date of birth (DDMMYY) 85075.
Or, if you want to give us a call, you can sort everything out over the phone too.
Once we've received your request, we'll get back to you within 2 working days to give some timescales and more information on your switch.
Leaving Three without a new provider
You might want to leave Three without going to a new provider. We can help with that too. You'll need to chat with us, or give us a call on 337 from your Three number, so that we can help you settle any outstanding charges and balances, or arrange termination of your number.
