If you're coming for an assessment centre

If you're coming for an assessment centre: This is just a set of tests and exercises designed to see if you've got the right skills for the job. To make sure we get a good, all-round impression of what you can do, we'll also have our team of trained assessors looking on. Sounds official, but they're really nice, actually. So just relax, do your best and go for it.

Practice your handshake

Might sound a bit odd, but it all makes for a good, confident start to any meeting.

Give yourself plenty of time to get to the interview

You never know what the trains, the traffic or the parking's going to be like, so best play it safe.

Turn up 15 minutes early

Ask for a glass of water

It's weird how quickly your mouth can dry up in an interview.

Take your time answering

Think about the question first. Repeat it out loud if you like. It'll all help keep you calm and let you give the best answer you can.

Get comfortable in your seat before you start

If you keep shifting around, all it does is puts your interviewer off your answers.
