All you need to know about Pay As you Go. To keep your Pay As you Go SIM active, use it at least once every 180 days. It's easy – make a call, send a text, use your data, or top up.

Top up your SIM

The easiest way to top up is on the Three app. You can also top up via phone – Call 444 free from your Three phone, or 07782 333444 if you're using another phone. You can use a credit or debit card, a voucher, or get a Data Pack for even better value.

Data Packs give you more

Make your money go further. Choose your monthly data, and if that works for you, auto-renew to keep it going. There’s no contract, and you can Go Roam at no extra cost. Manage your data packs in My3 or the Three app.

Keeping your number active

To keep your Pay As You Go number active, you must use it for at least one chargeable activity - like making use of existing top-up credit or Data Pack allowance, adding top-up credit, buying a new Data Pack, or making a telephone call, sending a text, or using the internet on Three’s mobile network - every 180 days.

A chargeable activity is using any Three service for which a charge is made, like buying a top-up, Data Pack or Data Boost, or making a telephone call, sending a text or photo message, or using data on Three’s mobile network (i.e. not Wi-Fi) using existing top-up credit or Data Pack/Data Boost inclusive allowance.

Yes, your Pay As Your Go number will be disconnected and not work again unless you use it at least once every 180 days to top up, buy a Data Pack/Data Boost or for a chargeable activity – like making a telephone call, sending a text or photo message, or accessing content using Three’s mobile network (i.e. not Wi-Fi) using existing top-up credit or Data Pack/Boost inclusive allowance.

Unfortunately, you cannot reactivate your Pay As You Go number once it's been disconnected. You will need to order a new Pay As You Go SIM online, by requesting one via Live Chat or visiting your local Three store. You'll get a text with your new number once you’ve put your new Three SIM in your phone.
