You can now do so much more with your mobile. But at 3 we haven’t forgotten the basics. 3 has a nationwide voice service area. So you can speak to anyone for not much money, no matter where they are and no matter where you’re calling from.

Non-geographic numbers include the following services:
Free call, Local call and national call. Corporate numbers, which are specific 05 number ranges which are allocated to corporate customers to give them a consistent number range prefix on a national basis, 3 does not provide any 05 services but calls from 3 customers can route to 05 services hosted by other operators.

IP phone numbers, which are specific number ranges allocated to internet telephony services, again 3 does not provide any 05 IP services but calls from 3 customers can route to 05 IP services hosted by other operators.

Personal numbers, which are numbers that can be purchased for individuals which they can use for receiving calls on an ongoing basis instead of their standard fixed or mobile numbers, again 3 does not provide any 07 personal numbering services but calls from 3 customers can route to such services hosted by other operators

Premium numbers, which are numbers purchased by 3rd parties, within the 09 range, for the provision of premium content services. As with personal numbers, 3 does not provide any 09 premium numbering services but calls from 3 customers can route to such services hosted by other operators.

Non-geographic numbers are usually charged at a higher rate than national numbers and most are excluded from any inclusive allowance. You will also normally be barred from making calls to numbers that begin with 09 because they tend to be charged at significantly higher rates. To make premium rate calls on your phone, you have to get the premium rate ban lifted first. To do this, phone 333 from your 3 mobile and follow the voice prompt instructions.
