Wi-Fi Calling

Wi-Fi Calling – call and text whenever you’re on Wi-Fi

We want you to have the best experience possible on our network. With Wi-Fi Calling, you can call and text whenever you're on Wi-Fi in the UK, even if there’s no mobile signal. You’ll be charged in the same way as normal, so your usage will come out of your monthly allowance, or you'll be charged at the same rate as you usually would be for using our network.

Depending on the phone you have, it will either need a simple software update to switch seamlessly to Wi-Fi Calling, or you'll just need to turn it on in the settings. Pretty nifty.

If you wish to call emergency services on 999 using our Wi-Fi Calling service, please note that your access to emergency calls may be halted if there is a power failure, or if your internet connection fails. If you have trouble connecting with Wi-Fi, try a mobile or fixed network connection instead. You can also register (and keep us up to date) with your current location so that emergency services can locate you. You may be asked to confirm or provide your location when making an emergency call to help emergency organisations identify the services you need.

Look out for these symbols on your Apple or Android device to check that Wi-Fi Calling is working.
