We’re proud to sponsor Gogglebox on 4 can’t wait to get up close to the characters that make it a hit. Here's an intro to some of our favourites

Friday 15 July will see the return of the nation’s favourite TV watchers in series 20 of Gogglebox.

The show’s gone from strength to strength since the first series in 2013. On average, 4.6 million of us tuned in every week of the last series, and it’s hardly surprising – we all love the living room antics on a Friday night. They bring us closer together on our sofas, and remind us that there’s always someone there for us.

That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Gogglebox on 4 and can’t wait to get up close to the characters that make it such a hit. Here’s an intro to some of our fave Goggleboxers.

Ellie and Izzi – @ellieandizzi

Ellie and Izzy - Gogglebox

Leeds-based Ellie Warner and sister Izzi joined the show back in 2015 and have become firm favourites. They’re known for their passion for food and adorable dogs; Mick, Madge, and new additions Morris and Fudge.

What do they do in real-life? Ellie’s a hairdresser and Izzi is mum to 6-year-old Bobby, and Bessie Rose who was born in February 2020.

Jenny and Lee – @leegogglebox

Jenny and Lee - Gogglebox

An iconic duo if ever there was one. Jenny and Lee have been best mates for over 20 years having met in the pub that Jenny used to run.

They don’t live together, but isolated in Lee’s caravan during the pandemic so they could continue filming.

Fun fact: Jenny and Lee have the highest social media following of all the cast.

Pete and Sophie – @PeteandSophie

Pete & Sophie Gogglebox

This brother-and-sister duo from Blackpool love fancy dress, murder mystery parties, and a good karaoke. Pete’s a builder with his own business, and welcomed a son with his wife, Paige, in August. And Sophie’s also an entrepreneur, as she recently started a floristry business, too. Plus, keep an eye out for Pete’s corgi – Colin.

The Malones @themalonesGB

The Malones - Gogglebox

The Malone family – Tom Sr, Julie, and Shaun – are based in Manchester. They’ve been part of the show since 2014 and are known for their hilarious one-liners and impressive TV snack selections. And their 4 rescue dogs, Dave, Izzy, Lucy, and Joe regularly steal the show with their antics.
