Things to be aware of

All our plans include free 5G, unlimited calls and texts to standard UK numbers, access to our Three+ rewards app, and use of your data allowance for Personal Hotspot, so you can connect other devices when there's no Wi-Fi.

  • Each April, your airtime plan monthly charge will increase by a fixed amount of £1.80 - £2.30 per month depending on your plan, please see your Contract for further details.
  • Airtime plan monthly charge includes £5 discount for paying by a recurring method, e.g. direct debit.
  • Additional charges if you spend outside of your allowance.

Our Pay Monthly plans offer a range of maximum speeds. These are currently: 

  • 100Mbps
  • Full Speed 

How to choose your speed

The maximum speed you’ll get depends on your location, signal strength, and the speed of the site you're downloading from. But here’s what to expect day-to-day.  

100Mbps lets you stream your favourites in 4K without a care. You can also game online without lag, or have high-quality video calls. And, of course, you can browse your favourite sites and shop online to your heart’s content.  

Full Speed is ideal if you need the highest speeds. If you use your connection for bingeing TV, online gaming, or livestreaming, this is the one for you. Perfect for 5G devices in strong 5G areas. 

If you're planning to use a personal hotspot to share your Three connection with a laptop or another device, you may also find that everything works better if your network speed is higher.

Roaming built-in

Great news – our plans now include inclusive roaming. That means you can use your data, minutes, and texts in locations around the world at no extra cost, up to our Fair Usage limits.

Where you can enjoy inclusive roaming depends on which Three plan you choose. 

  • If you take out a Complete plan, you get it all. You can use your allowances in Go Roam in Europe, Around the World, and Around the World Extra destinations at no extra cost
  • If you have a Value plan, you can use your allowances in all Go Roam in Europe destinations at no extra cost
  • If you have a Lite plan, you’ll need to buy a Go Roam Pass Add-on or daily roaming charges will apply

Older plans

If you’re upgrading your plan, here’s what you currently get for roaming:

If you took out a plan between 01 October 2021 and 21 June 2025

  • If you have a Value or Complete plan, you’ll have a number of Go Roam Passes included with your plan that you can use
  • If you have an Advance or Lite plan, or you’ve run out of passes, you’ll need to buy a Go Roam Pass or daily roaming charges will apply

If you took out a monthly plan before 01 October 2021

  • All Go Roam in Europe and Around the World destinations are included at no extra cost
  • Data, minutes, and texts are not included for any Around the World Extra destinations

Whichever plan you have, out-of-allowance charges will apply if you go over your Fair Usage limit.

What's not included?

When your allowances run out

If you’ve used your monthly UK inclusive allowance of minutes or data, you’ll be charged the following rates:

  • Calls to standard UK landlines (starting 01, 02, or 03; excludes calls to the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands), UK mobiles (any network) and your Three voicemail – 65p per minute
  • Data – 10p per MB

Additional and extra charges

  • Calls to numbers starting 070, 084, 087, 09, and 118 are not included in your monthly inclusive allowance
  • Calls to non-geographic service numbers starting 084, 087, 09, and 118 are split into an access charge set by us at 65p per minute, plus a service charge set by the company you’re calling – they'll tell you this
  • UK picture messages – 65p each
  • UK to international calls up to – up to £3.00 per minute
  • UK to international texts – up to 65p each
  • International to UK calls – from 3p per minute
  • International to UK texts – from 4.9p

The price displayed includes a £5 discount for paying by a recurring method, such as Direct Debit. Each April, your airtime plan monthly charge will increase by a fixed amount of £1.80 - £2.30 per month depending on your plan, please see your Contract for further details. The £5 monthly recurring payment discount and the annual price increase do not apply to Add-ons, out-of-allowance charges, Three Your Way device plan agreement repayments, or Three Insurance premiums.
