As part of our promise to build a new era of connectivity, we have an £11bn investment plan[2] to improve our network for all UK customers. Many areas have already been upgraded, and there's much more to come.
We’ve deployed Multi Operator Core Network (MOCN) technology across more than 8,000 sites across the UK. This means Three Business customers can now automatically connect to the best available signal, whether it’s on Three’s network or Vodafone’s - with no change to your plan or price (where technically available, and subject to location).
These improvements have already removed 16,500 km² of former not‑spots, giving businesses more reliable mobile coverage than ever before. It’s a major milestone in our £11 billion investment to build the UK’s best network.
Better connectivity isn't just about fewer dropouts - it fuels economic growth. with 33% of would-be entrepreneurs saying better connectivity would make launching a business more attractive, these improvements matter more than ever.
New research by WPI Strategy, commissioned by VodafoneThree, shows that improved mobile coverage could:
Enable up to 49,000 new businesses across the UK
Add £6.6billion to the UK economy every year after 10 years
Help founders operate easily on the move
Open new areas for established businesses to trade
