FAQs

Upgrading a SIM to a new SIM:
You can do this within 6 months from your contract start date.

Upgrading a SIM to a phone:
You can do this within 6 months from your contract start date.

Upgrading phone or broadband contracts to a new phone or broadband contract:
You can do this within 3 months of your contract end date. If you want to upgrade earlier, you may be charged a fee.

Upgrading a phone or broadband contract to a SIM:
You can do this within 1 month of your contract end date. If you want to upgrade earlier, you may be charged a fee.

You can sometimes upgrade early but you may need to pay a fee. To discuss an early upgrade, contact us.

We’ll contact you via text, email or letter to let you know when your new plan will start.

In most cases, you’ll be able to keep your current SIM after upgrading. We can advise you. 

Yes, you can upgrade to a SIM only plan and keep your old device. You won’t need a new SIM card - your upgrade will automatically apply to your current SIM.
