-
As long as you’ve got some of your monthly data allowance left, you can access selected Go Binge partner services, at no extra cost, and without using up your data. As long as you are on an eligible plan, you don’t need to do anything to activate Go Binge.
Go Binge is an optional service and customers on eligible plans can elect to opt out at any time through My3 or by calling us on 333. As a mobile network we do not guarantee any particular speeds or quality, as these are dependent on multiple factors such as location, equipment, network demand and position in buildings. In addition selected services (like TV Player) may only be available in Standard Definition. Service speed may be managed to ensure a quality experience for all our customers.
Just go to one of our partner’s apps or websites and start enjoying yourself.
Using Go Binge abroad.
You can use your data abroad to Go Binge with Go Roam, but it’s worth remembering that you have different data usage restrictions depending on where you’re going. Check out more details on Go Roam.
- What’s included?
-
Currently, the following services are available:
Snapchat
Netflix
TVPlayer
Apple Music
Deezer
SoundCloud
We’re always looking to add more services though, and we’ll let you know when we do.
Some services, such as Netflix, require separate subscriptions of their own. It’s also worth remembering that some apps and services contain adverts or link through to third party content on other sites, which we cannot zero rate. Examples of this include BBC iPlayer when opened via TVPlayer, and third party content accessed from Snapchat’s Discover page, which is hosted outside Snapchat.
- Is everything accessed via TVPlayer available as part of Go Binge?
-
No. The vast majority of apps and content are included. However, on-demand services and apps where you are taken out of TVPlayer, e.g. BBC iPlayer, are not included and will come out of your data allowance.
- Are services on Go Binge available in High Definition or Standard Definition?
-
At the moment, where Go Binge partners make content available in High Definition, this content is included as part of Go Binge and won’t come out of your data allowance. However, some services ae only available in Standard Definition. We cannot control this.
- What if I run out of data?
-
If you have no data left in your data allowance, you’ll not be able to access the service until you buy more data or your data allowance refreshes.
- Are there any limits on how much I can stream?
-
No. As long as you have some of your regular data allowance left, you can Go Binge on our selected partners as much as you like.
- My streaming has come out of the wrong allowance, what do I do?
-
If you think your usage has come out of the wrong allowance, first check the restrictions of the offer. If you still believe it’s wrong, give us a call on 333 so we can look into it.
- Are the subscriptions to our partners’ devices included?
-
No. Go Binge is all about the data. If a service requires a subscription to view/access, you’ll need to set this up yourself.
- Is there an Add-on so I can use it with PAYG?
-
No this service is not available on PAYG.
- Will I be able to access my existing Netflix account, or do I have to set up a new one?
-
You don’t need a new account, just go to the Netflix app as normal. This is the same with all our partners.
- Is Go Binge linked to my SIM or SIM and device? Can I put my SIM in my friend’s Three device for them to use?
-
It’s linked to your account so you can pop your SIM in another device as long as it’s within our terms (e.g. a voice SIM can only be used in a handset).
- Does Go Binge work in Go Roam destinations?
-
Go Binge works in all our Go Roam destinations – as long as you have regular data left in your monthly allowance, you can access the selected Go Binge services without using up your data. If you’ve no data left in your allowance you won’t be able to access Go Binge services. As with all roaming a fair use data policy applies. Within Go Roam in Europe destinations, your Go Binge usage counts towards your fair use limit. However, once you’ve reached this limit, any continued usage (including Go Binge) will be subject to a surcharge. In Go Roam Around the World destinations, Go Binge usage doesn’t count towards your fair use limit. However, once you’ve reached this limit, your data usage (including Go Binge) may be blocked until the next billing period. You can find full details on our fair usage limits and pricing in our Price Guide
- Is there any content that cannot be watched outside of the UK?
-
Positions for our launch partners are as follows:
Netflix: This works while roaming, but exact support will depend on whatever that country’s catalogue of shows and rights are.
Deezer: The majority of content works, with some exclusions.
SoundCloud: The free service is available in most destinations, depending on licensing agreements. The premium service is unavailable.
TVPlayer: The free version will work in other countries, but only where the license is allowed. The Plus service is only available in the UK.
- Does Go Binge affect my personal hotspot allowance?
-
Go Binge doesn’t affect your personal hotspot allowance. If you’re on a plan that has more than 30GB data, you’re personal hotspot allowance remains 30GB, and is subject to our fair usage policy when roaming.
- The latest partner to join Go Binge – why we’re proud to work with Snapchat.
-
Snapchat is a place where people share content they create from their daily lives. Three wanted to allow its customers to be as creative as possible wherever they are, whatever they are doing and whenever they want.
