What’s the best broadband speed for my home?
Depending on how you use your internet, you’ll find what you need for one of our 4G or 5G hubs:
Light users
If you need day-to-day speedy internet for general browsing, social scrolling and video chatting, then our 4G hub would probably be perfect for you.
Students
Our 4G hub is ideal for keeping on top of your daily studying, researching, scrolling, socialising, and light streaming and gaming. Plus, it’s great value, too.
Families
Depending on how many you’ve got in your home, and what your needs are, either of our hubs could work. For busy households with a lot of streaming and working, we’d recommend our 5G hub.
Gamers
If you’re looking for smooth, seamless, lower lag gaming, then look no further than our 5G hub. It’s for serious gamers who seriously game.
Film lovers
Big into Netflix? Our 5G broadband download speeds reach an average of 150Mbps. So you can stream or download in seconds.
What’re the differences between our 4G and 5G hubs?

- Maximum download speed: Up to 3.8Gbps
- Maximum upload speed: Up to 542Mbps

- Maximum upload speed: Up to 150Mbps

The advertised 5G download speed of 150Mbps applies to at least 50% of 5G Broadband customers between the peak hours of 8pm and 10pm. We measure the speeds delivered by our 5G Radio Access Network to customers across our 5G Network and calculate the average (median) 5G data throughput rate at peak hours on a daily basis. In Feb-March 2023 the median figure was well above 150 Mbps each day and we continue to monitor this on an ongoing basis. Due to the nature of the wireless technology delivering your Broadband, the speed that any individual premises will experience is not guaranteed, may vary and can be impacted by local factors, such as the positioning of the hub, line of sight to your nearest mast, local topography (such as hills), number of users accessing the network in your area and thickness of walls and windows.
