Visit our shop page and choose your phone. Make sure you’ve clicked Pay As You Go from the filters, under Contract type.

2. Choose a Data Pack

You’ll need to select the Pre-Pay plan. Then on our Add-Ons page, choose your Data Pack. You can choose a £10 pack or more.

3. Enjoy your new phone

Complete checkout and we’ll get your phone in the post for next-working day delivery, so you can start using it right away.

Pay As You Go phones give you freedom and flexibility, as you only pay for what you use – you’re not tied into a monthly phone contract. Pay As You Go phones and SIM users have recently used Data Packs, which give you a fixed amount of data for a fixed price for a month, which you can renew each month. But this isn’t the same as a contract, as you can opt-in and opt-out of your Data Pack each month. Traditional Pay As You Go users use credit, where you add money to your Pay As You Go account, which gets used up as you make calls, send texts, and use data. You can then top up as you go along.

  2. Select the ‘Pay As You Go’ plan, then from the ‘Add-ons’ section, choose the Data Pack you need. And you can auto-renew to get even more data each month.
  3. Once you’ve chosen your phone and Data Pack, follow the steps to complete your purchase. We’ll take it from there. All you need to do is sit back and wait for your new phone to arrive.

You can add your Data Pack as you buy your new phone on Three, in 3 easy steps:

1. Pick a Pay As You Go phone

Select Pay As You Go in the filter and explore our range of phones. Once you’ve picked your favourite, it’s time to choose your Data Pack.

2. Select a Data Pack

Select the Pay As You Go plan, then from the Add-ons section, choose the Data Pack you need. And you can auto-renew to get even more data each month.

3. Enjoy your new phone

Once you’ve chosen your phone and Data Pack, and completed your purchase, then we’ll take it from there. Your new phone will be on its way.

Alternatively, if you don’t buy a Data Pack when you buy your phone, then once you’ve received your new device, you’ll need to download the Three app where you can register your SIM, and browse all the Data Packs we have on offer.

Most new phones now have access to the internet – both on Pay As You Go and contract. Make sure you check that the phone you’re purchasing is 4G or 5G-enabled.

It depends on where you get your Pay As You Go phone from. All Pay As You Go phones on Three are unlocked so you can use them freely, straight away. If you’re purchasing a second-hand Pay As You Go phone, you’ll need to check with the seller to make sure it’s unlocked.
