But not everyone gets a buzz from technology and some of us openly admit that we don’t really ‘get it’ at all. Why Discovery is important.

A recent survey by Lloyds found that 21% of the UK population lack basic digital skills with four barriers preventing consumers from getting online: access, skills, confidence and motivation. We want to break through all of these with our Discovery sessions. So, in every one of our 324 retail stores across the country we’re offering free, bespoke sessions to help you develop your digital skills to get the most out of your device, no matter which network you’re with. You don’t even have to be a Three customer to make the most of Discovery; we’re here for everyone and anyone, so just pop in and see us!

Who are the Discovery sessions aimed at?

Discovery is for all ages and all abilities and for everyone in the local community – schools, community groups, small businesses, and individuals. What can you expect in a Discovery session?

They’re pretty much bespoke sessions and can take whatever format you prefer. The aim is for you to get out of them exactly what it is you want to achieve or you need to know. Whether it’s a business objective or a lifestyle/social goal, we’re ready and willing to show you the tips and tricks you need to reach it.

With more than 40 different sessions that can be tailored to all levels, everyone has the chance to delve into digital. We also have larger sessions for complete beginners, covering a range of different topics from online shopping, social media and cyber security, so you’ll be equipped with vital day-to-day digital skills to make the most of your mobile device. And of course, it’s all free.
