There are a few different ways to get a PAC. You’ll need to go to your previous provider, or text ‘PAC’ to 65075. Check your provider’s guidance, as they may ask for your date of birth too.

A PAC only lasts 30 days, so after it expires, you’ll need to get a new one. We can’t check when your PAC was generated, but your previous provider can. So, get in touch with them if you need to check.

Once you’ve got your PAC, all you need to do is fill in the Bring my number to Three form or log into My3. The info we need from you includes, your Three number – shown on your Three SIM packaging, the number you’re moving from your old provider, and your PAC. Once you’ve give us those details, we’ll take care of the rest.

To get your STAC, you should speak to your previous provider. Or you can text ‘STAC’ to 75075. Check your old provider’s guidance, as they may ask for your date of birth too.

When you ask to switch your number, we’ll aim to do it the next working day, unless you ask us not to.

We’ll process your request the next working day, as long as we get it by 17:00. If you make your request after 17:00, on a weekend, or on a bank holiday, it’ll take 2 working days to process.

Need to delay your number switch? No problem. Let us know the date you’d like your number to be moved, within 30 days of your PAC expiry date. Remember, bank holidays act as weekends, so our systems will sue the next working day instead.

Once you’ve given us our PAC, you can keep using your phone as normal. Your previous provider will cancel your service within 24 hours. You may notice a short drop in service during the service but don’t worry, that’s completely normal.

When you bring your number to us, it’ll show on all your future bills. Any previous bills, generated before switching your number will show your original Three number.

Your My3 login information will automatically update with your new number, so you can use it to log in.
