Changing your Three number

To get started, just open the Three Pay As You Go app or log in to your account, then select Change your number. Pick your reason for changing it, then hit Continue.

If you choose Malicious/Nuisance calls, we recommend taking the time to read the info on the screen. You'll also find more advice and support by selecting Dealing with malicious calls.

Next, take your pick from the list of available numbers. If you don't like any of them, choose Show more numbers to see a few more options.

Once you've put in a new number request, you can track your progress in your account.

If you miss your old number, it's easy to change it back. Just select I want my old Three number back in your account, or get in touch within 30 days.

Other useful information

  • You can change your number as many times as you like
  • Changing your number is free the first time, but there's a £10.21 charge to change it again
  • You can pay for a number change using your card or available credit. If you change your mind, we won't be able to refund this, unfortunately
  • If you change back to your old number, you won't be able to get the newer number back again
  • If you've signed up to any premium services on your current number, these won't automatically transfer if you change it. You'll have to sign up for them again
  • If you get an error message while trying to change your number, we'll need you to start the process again. We know it's a pain, but it's important that you don't end up with the wrong number
