Turning the adult content filter on or off
Adult content is blocked by default on all new accounts. Before we can unblock it, we'll need to see some proof of your age.
You can do this by logging into My3 or the Three app and doing a quick credit card verification. Here’s how:
My3
- Log in to your My3 account
- Go to Manage your plan
- Go to Adult content and tap Edit
- Use the toggle button to turn the adult content filter on or off
- Enter your card details and tap Pay now
Three app
- Tap Manage plan
- Tap Controls
- Toggle the adult content filter on or off
- Enter your card details and tap Pay now
Note: If you use an American Express (AMEX) card, verification might need a 10p charge. We’ll cancel it right away, so it won’t cost you a penny – by may appear on your bill.
Prove your age in a Three store
We can also confirm your age at your local Three store – it's kind of like showing ID at a bar. Just pop in with your photo ID, and we'll get it sorted for you.
Bear in mind that we can only accept a driving licence, passport, or another nationally-recognised ID card.
Blocking adult content
To turn the adult content filter back on, just log back into the Three app and go to Manage your plan. Select Adult content and tap Edit and follow the on-screen instructions to block adult content.
Remember: if you want to unblock adult content in the future, you’ll need to verify your age again.
