Turning the adult content filter on or off

Adult content is blocked by default on all new accounts. Before we can unblock it, we'll need to see some proof of your age.

We can do this in the Three Pay As You Go app or online with a quick credit card verification, or in-store with photo ID.

Prove your age in the Three Pay As You Go app or online

This is definitely the easiest way to go. Just open the Three Pay As You Go app or log in to your account and hit Unblock adult content.

Next, select Use a credit card and follow the instructions on the screen. We'll run a quick validation check, which won't cost you anything and won't show up on your bill.

And that's all – adult content will now be unblocked.

Note: If you use an American Express (AMEX) card, verification might require a 10p charge. We'll cancel this right away, so it won't cost you a penny – though it may appear on your bill.

Prove your age in a Three store

We can also confirm your age at your local Three store – it's kind of like showing ID at a bar. Just pop in with your photo ID, and we'll get it sorted for you.

Bear in mind that we can only accept a driving licence, passport, or another nationally-recognised ID card.

Blocking adult content

To turn the adult content filter back on, just open the Three Pay As You Go app or log in to your account and hit Yep, block adult content. Once you're happy to go ahead, hit Continue.

Remember: if you want to unblock adult content in the future, you'll need to verify your age again.
