How can I buy an Apple Watch on Three?

New and upgrading customers can get an Apple Watch from our retail stores or by contacting our customer service team. You can also buy an Apple Watch outright from our online store and spread the cost with Klarna.

How long does it take to activate the Smartwatch Pairing service?

The Smartwatch Pairing setup process takes approximately 30 minutes. Once paired, you can use your smartwatch right away.

How do I switch my Apple Watch from a different network to Three?

If you have a Smartwatch Pairing plan, your Apple Watch will automatically switch to the Three network your iPhone's using. Follow the steps above to activate Smartwatch Pairing on your account.

How many smartwatches can I add to my plan?

You can only have one smartwatch per Smartwatch Pairing plan at a time.

Do I need a Pay Monthly plan to buy Smartwatch Pairing?

Yes, Smartwatch Pairing is only available to Pay Monthly customers. It’s not currently available for Pay As You Go or Business customers.

Can I use Smartwatch Pairing abroad?

You can't use Apple Watch's cellular features outside the UK. However, you can still use your Apple Watch as usual if it's connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.

How do I cancel my Smartwatch Pairing plan?

If you bought Smartwatch Pairing as an Add-on to an existing plan, you can cancel it anytime in the Watch app. If you do this, the service will end immediately and you’ll be charged for the full month. You won't be able to activate Smartwatch Pairing again until your next bill cycle date.
If you bought Smartwatch Pairing as part of your Pay Monthly plan, you can't cancel it without cancelling your contract as a whole. Any cancellation within the minimum contract term will be subject to an early termination fee.

How much does Smartwatch Pairing cost?

If you purchase an Apple Watch on a 24-month plan from Three, the Smartwatch Pairing service will be included in your monthly charge. If you already own an Apple Watch and want to add Smartwatch Pairing to your plan, it’s £7 a month and can be cancelled at any time.

How does Smartwatch Pairing appear on my bill?

If you have Smartwatch Pairing as part of your Pay Monthly plan, the cost will be included in your totally monthly charge. If you've bought Smartwatch Pairing as an Add-on to an existing plan, it'll appear on your bill as a separate line.

Will I be charged for calls made on my smartwatch?

Smartwatch Pairing shares your allowances between your phone and your smartwatch. Therefore, calls made on your smartwatch will use the minutes included in your plan. If you run out of minutes, you'll be charged at our standard rates.

How does my smartwatch connect to the Three network?

Cellular smartwatches have an eSIM built in. This lets them connect to the network just like your phone does.

Does my smartwatch need to be connected to my phone to make and receive calls?

No. Once Smartwatch Pairing is active, you'll be able to make and receive calls when away from your phone so long as you have coverage.

Do I need to reactivate Smartwatch Pairing if my smartwatch is replaced?

No. Simply connect your replacement Apple Watch to your iPhone. If Smartwatch Pairing is still active on your account, it'll work as normal.
